Happy fucking News Years part two

Ok so Sorry I took a little break from my story but since most of you already knew what happened, and more importantly I've been in a great mood lately I didn't really feel like finishing it. I know you area all just sitting on the edges of your seats waiting to know what happened.
Ok so It all starts when I go to Wheaton to get my hair done. That part actually worked out rather well. My hair though for those of you who haven't seen it is actually the shortest I've ever had it in my life. Even though this was almost two weeks ago I'm still getting use to it. That is niether here nor there though.
So if you will recall I also needed to go to the bank to get some cash because I had no access to my funds. So I borrowed H's truck and he was kind enough to let me do. Now H has a stick shift truck which I have driven on more than one occasion before. I was quite excited when I made it home from the city as Chi town is not a fun place to drive all the time for those who maybe drive stick once or twice every year.
Now I owed my dad 40 dollars and it was his extra spending money so I really wanted to give it back to him. I know he tottally didn't care but that is not the point because I did care. Anyways I made the pit stop at my parents house to drop off the cash. Now I knew I couldn't stay long because I didn't want to get stuck in traffic on the way back home. Again because of my less than average stick shift driving abilities. So I'm abousolutly starving because its like 2pm and I haven't eaten all day. I think to myself just a quick stop off at portillos and I'll be good to go.
So as I'm leaving the driveway I decied to take the left turn toward portillos instead of rigth toward the highway. This seems to be the fatal flaw in my decision making ability for the day. Being that as soon as I made the turn I was was smashed into by an Echo. Now I dont' know where this car came from because lord knows I didn't see it when I looked or I clearly wouldn't have turned. Anyways it was there and struck right into the side of H's truck.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. It was bad enough that it was mostly my fault (I say mostly because apparently the guy came flying around another car and was going super fast, which is why I didn't see him in the first place), but it wasn't my car. Thankfully H has been super awesome about the whole thing, and the damage to the truck wasn't that bad. The Echo on the other hand completley gone.
Now I will fast forward about three days. Now my right shoulder was killing me and my neck hurt really bad, but I still needed to go to work because well everyone has to work right. I was leaving my apartment, and I couldn't get my outside door to lock. See they put all this new weather striping on my doors so it wouldn't be so cold. Anyways it makes it really hard to close my outside door, so on this fine day I was having lots of problems with said door. I couldn't get the damn think to lock so I went inside to see if it would lock at all. And it turned out from the inside it would lock. However since in the keys were still in the outside of the door to make a great situation a little more fun I couldn't get the door to unlock.
Ohh wait for it because it gets better. So I'm stuck not inside my apartment like one might assume but inbetween two doors since I have a little storage area that is like four by six, underneath the stairs to the above apartments. SO I was actually stuck between the two doors. Now that is a lot I'm sure but still not enough because actually my purse, and my cell phone were all outside still, and the inside door was locked, and I'm more than a little claustrophobic.
SO of course I start to freak out. I actually tried to kick the inside door down but as it turns out this takes more work that one might think. I can't break the glass to the windows because there is this metal messish covering on them. So I start freaking out some more. I actually have a broom outside on the off chance that I sweep up the crap that comes underneath the door. SO I start banging on the ceiling with the broom. Shit is falling on my head which makes me even more happy. Its like 8:30 on saturday morning so there is just about no one around.
After about ten minutes of quality freaking out someone walks by outside, and I proceed to beat on the window. He keeps going. I'm thinking fuck I'm never going to get out of here. He does turn around and come back, though the confused look on his face was almost funny, or would have been funny if I wasn't balling. So he proceeds to take the keys out of the door, and turn around and walk away. I open the door amiss a round of a million and a half thank yous, but he doesn't even turn around. Just keeps walking. Which is fine by me as I can see its not the best of situations for either of us.
Well I did make it to work though i had to take a cab, and by the time I got there my neck and arm hurt REALLY bad. No need to worry, my neck and arm are mostly feeling better. Who knows maybe I will even start working out again in order to ensure that it doesn't get worse. Though I woudn't really hold your breathe for that.
Lets hope the rest of the year is less event full than the first week.

LMAO... seriously... you are lucky someone didn't walk by and steal the keys and your purse, because honestly I was waiting for that part.

Well while I was stuck inside the doors I was also waiting for someone to run off with my purse, and the 200 dollars that was inside it since I didn't have my damn check card. Alas that didn't happen, but I can change the story if you like to better fit the humor you all see in my life.
